This red cabbage salad is healthy, crunchy, fresh and the ingredients lend a creative taste in your mouth. The combination of all the ingredients, especially the freshly squeezed lemon against the crunchiness of the hemp seeds and red cabbage is absolutely refreshing!
Honestly loved this salad so much. There is so little to be done in preparation, once you have the cabbage sliced that’s it, hard parts over if you can call it that.
Add the hemp seeds, salt, cayenne pepper, olive oil, freshly squeezed lemon juice, avocado and parsley seasoning to your perfect taste.
NOTES FOR THIS RECIPE
Roasting the hemp seeds for a 1 minute 2 is a suggestion, I prefer not to roast the seeds because I enjoy the raw nut texture.
Make sure your cabbage is as fresh as you can buy it! Limp cabbage leaves will not do this salad any justice, trust me.
Red Cabbage, Hemp Seeds & Avocado Salad
A fresh, crunchy and healthy salad which is great in the summer time!
- 1/2 red cabbage, rinsed and thinly sliced
- Hemp Seeds
- Olive oil
- Cayenne Pepper
- Lemon Juice
- Avocado Pear
- Step 1 Rinse and slice red cabbage
- Step 2 Mix the rinsed and thinly sliced cabbage with the hemp seeds, olive oil, salt, cayenne pepper, fresh lemon juice and parsley, give it all a good mix.
- Step 3 Serve with fresh lemon and avocado.
- Step 4 Enjoy xx
