Quick & Easy Healthy Spinach Omelette w/Cheese & Served w/Creamy Avocado

Quick easy healthy spinach omelette cooked with cheese and served with creamy avocado.  The best part is that eggs really don’t cost much, anyone can make an omelette, its an anytime day or night meal or snack. You simply cant go wrong, and if you do, try and try again, because at the end of the day, you still getting your protein in.

Quick Easy Healthy Spinach Omelette

With all the hype on fresh and organic food lets not become too obsessed because the truth is, as long as you are eating or preparing a good wholesome meal you are doing it right. Sometimes that’s all we need, and eggs of-course!

NOTES & TIPS:

Use a non-stick pan
Cook the omelette on low to medium heat
When you pour the egg into the hot pan, make sure its not too hot so remove it from the heat for a second if it is and then carefully pour in the egg

What to serve this omelette with?

Well, firstly, it’s delicious as it is and I mean that sincerely but if you’re craving some sweetness but still want it to be healthy then drizzle some natural honey  and a sprinkle of cinnamon .

What if you want to be over the top?

Sometimes you’ve been eating clean for a while (or not) and just want something more of a treat not just natural honey and maybe you want to make it more of a dessert tasting treat, I mean isnt that what treats are all about?

Yes, I said it, then top it off with ICE CREAM!

Either way, this is still an easy, quick and healthy omelette.

Quick Easy Healthy Spinach Omelette w/Cheese & Served w/Creamy Avocado

Ingredients
  • 2 Eggs
  • Dash of Milk (1 tablespoon)
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Pinch of Crushed Chili
  • 1/2 Cup of Baby Spinach
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil
  • 1 Chopped Garlic Clove
  • 1 Mushroom
  • 1 Slice of Cooked Ham
  • Pinch of Cayenne Pepper
  • Pinch of Paprika
  • Pinch of Oregano
  • 1 Small Piece (Dash) of Feta Cheese
  • Sprinkle of Fresh Pepper
Directions
  • Step 1 Whisk the eggs in a bowl with the milk
  • Step 2 Add the salt & crushed chili
  • Step 3 Chop your baby spinach. Set aside
  • Step 4 Heat a non stick pan and add the oil
  • Step 5 When the oil is hot, add the garlic, cook for a bit & add the mushrooms, cook for a bit and add the spinach
  • Step 6 Pour the egg all over the mushrooms, garlic & spinach
  • Step 7 Allow the egg to flow into the pan covering all the food by gently tilting the pan so the egg flows evenly
  • Step 8 Make sure your stove heat is on low
  • Step 9 Add the cheese & cooked ham
  • Step 10 Add a pinch of the rest of the spices
  • Step 11 Cover the pan and let the omelette cook slowly for a few seconds
  • Step 12 Remove the pan from the heat and remove the lid
  • Step 13 Leave the omelette to cook finish in the pan with the heat off  for about 30 seconds while you gently move your egg-lifter around the sides to fold it over and slide into you plate
  • Step 14 Serve with sliced avocado
  • Step 15 ENJOY!
