If I was sticking to tradition then this drink would actually be called a “Zurra” or “Sangria Bianco e Rosso” instead of a Refreshing Sangria Summer Drink. “Zurra” because of the peaches and plums used to prepare it and “Sangria Bianco e Rosso” which is Sangria Red & White because we have used both a white and red wine as opposed to just Sangria Rosso (Red).
Regardless this wine based punch is such a pleasant drink and the best part is that you really get to be as creative as you want with it.
It really doesn’t matter whether you are actually in Spain or you are sitting in your garden somewhere (with your sunglasses on:) this drink makes you feel like you are on holiday somewhere and lifts your mood somehow. (sorry that also just may be the wine 🙂 Regardless, sangria remains true to its heritage of Spanish Party.
I think its safe to say that it would be quite the challenge to refuse a tall glass of a refreshing sangria summer drink when offered one especially in the middle of any summer day! Even if you don’t like wine (not that I would understand how and why ??:) but at most times you would be willing to ignore the strong taste of wine in exchange for a sangria!

Being that its summer here now all we manage to do is mix the wines, juices and chopped fruit into a bowl or jug with 1 or 2 spices at the end to spruce it up. Enjoy 🙂
