Description

This air fryer pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds recipe combination, is the easiest recipe that you will ever find. The best part is that you don't have to clean, boil or wait for seasonal pumpkins to get the seeds. I am using store-bought raw, unseasoned, whole seeds. You can find them at your local grocery store or online, simple bags of raw seeds.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup Pumpkin seeds
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/4 Tsp salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Set the air fryer preheat setting for 5 minutes or let the air fryer run for 5 minutes. 180°C/356°F
  2. On a large sheet of parchment paper, add the seeds, oil, salt, pepper and mix together with a spoon.
  3. Carefully lift the parchment paper and transfer to the warm air fryer basket and air fry for 10 minutes on 180°C/356°F.
  4. Let them cool down before snacking/serving and adjust the seasoning.

Notes

To Air Fry Fresh Pumpkin Seeds:

  • First clean the seeds, remove the pulp and rinse them in a colander, pat them dry. You can leave them on a tray over-night to dry or dry them well with a kitchen towel. Spread them out in a single layer.
  • Drizzle 1 tablespoon of oil to 1 cup of seeds
  • Season
  • Air fry on parchment paper, in a single layer, in the air fryer basket
  • 12 to 15 minutes on 180°C/356°F
