Description
Creamy and easy avocado salad dressing that takes 5 minutes to make! Store it in the fridge for a few days and add it to a variety of salads, add it to baked potato use it as a dip!
Ingredients

- 2 avocados
- 3 tbsps. olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 juice of a fresh lemon
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 3 tbsps. sour cream
- salt and pepper to taste
- cold water to thin it out. (See notes below on this!)
- 2 tbsps whipping cream
Instructions
- Add the avocado, salt & pepper, lemon, garlic, olive oil and sour cream or yogurt into the blender with part of the water.
- Taste for seasoning, lemon, sour cream (use yogurt if you need to substitute the sour cream), add a little water to thin it out and add your favorite garlic & herb or vegetable spice
- Finally add the cream and mix.
- Bend, add water, use a rubber spatula push the ingredients down into the water and blend again.
Repeat until you have a creamy pouring consistency.
Notes
Water
Add the water gradually. Taste & season as you go and add water or it will be too thick! I added a good amount of filtered water gradually (about 1/2 cup!) 2 avos make more avocado salad dressing but you will need a bit of water to thin it out or you can start with 1 avocado and use less water.
