Orecchiette Pasta Recipe - Super Simple and Amazing

Description

One pan Orecchiette Pasta that takes 15 minutes and tastes out of this world amazing and if it's going to take you any longer then 18 minutes 🙂 It's that quick.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 250 grams Orecchiette (serves 3 to 4)
  • 500 grams Italian sausage
  • 1 tsp Our Calabrese spice - Smell and Taste
  • Bunch of baby spinach
  • 400 grams Red kidney beans (canned organic)
  • 2 tbsps Extra Virgin olive oil
  • Salt for the pasta (to taste)
  • 300 grams Mascarpone cheese
  • Parmesan cheese grated when serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the water for the pasta, once boiling, add salt to taste, add the pasta and cook until 'al dente' (to the tooth) or according to the packet instructions.
  2. Heat a non stick pan and cook the diced onion.
  3. Add the sausage, cook till a slightly braised.
  4. Add the Calabrese Spice and mix it in well.
  5. Add the chopped baby spinach and mix it in, cook for a few second just till it's a little wilted
  6. Add the mascarpone and gently swirl it all together
  7. Once the mascarpone has melted in completely with the sausage and spinach.
  8. Add the canned, red kidney organic beans and mix it all up.
  9. Add the cooked orecchiette pasta and enjoy!
