Description

A nutrient-packed Peanut Butter Avocado Toast is not only a tasty breakfast, brunch or lunch, it's also cruncy and healthy! Creamy avocado and crunchy peanut butter on ciabatta or any other bread like sourdough, homemade no-knead bread is definitely worth the bite!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of bread (ciabatta, sour dough, any bread)
  • 1/2 ripe avocado (thinly sliced)
  • 4 Tbsps peanut butter (divided)
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread: Toast the bread in a toaster, on a grill or in the air fryer. If using the air fryer: Use cooking spray to spray the bread slices and air fry for 4 minutes without turning.
  2. Add half the peanut butter: Spread half of the peanut butter evenly on the toast.
  3. Add the avocado: Scoop the avocado half out of the peel using a spoon. Slice and place it on top of the peanut butter.
  4. Melt the peanut butter: Melt the remaining peanut butter in the microwave on high for 30 seconds and pour over the avocado peanut butter toast.
  5. Season: Season with a pinch of salt and smoked paprika or black pepper. Enjoy!
