Honey and Nuts Date Bars 10 Minutes and Healthy

10 minutes to make and just enough time to set in the fridge!  These are such a wonderful and healthy snack bars to have on hand. 
Prep Time 10 minutes
Refrigerate 30 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 2 tbsps coconut oil
  • melted chocolate
  • 1/2 cup mixed raw nuts
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

Instructions
 

  • Lay a sheet of baking paper on a flat dish or baking pan (which will later go in the fridge to set the crunchies)
  • Melt the peanut butter, add honey, cinnamon and oil and mix together. 
  • Add the oats, dates, chia seeds, coconut and nuts (leave some nuts for the top) Combine and lightly press into the prepared tray. 
  • Add the remaining nuts on top and pour melted chocolate over. Freeze for 10 minutes and leave in the fridge for 20 minutes.
