Healthy Oatmeal Breakfast Bowl

Warm, creamy and a healthy oat bowl topped off with fruit, coconut flakes and honey.

- 1 cup oats
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- blueberries
- raspberries
- 1/4 medium banana slices
- chia seeds
- honey
- 1/4 cup berries for the smoothie (+ a tablespoon of water/milk)
Prevent your screen from going dark
Add the oats and water into a saucepan/pot and bring to the boil.
Once boiling drop the heat to a very low simmer and add the spices - cinnamon, nutmeg & turmeric. (a pinch of salt if you want)
Keep stirring until it reaches a thick creamy consistency. Remove from the stove and let it cool while you prepare your berry smoothie.
Add the berries into a food processor with a tablespoon of water and a tablespoon of honey. Whiz it all up into a smoothie (a few seconds).
Pour the berry smoothie next to the oats and add the banana slices, chia seeds, raspberries, more berries and a drizzle of honey. Enjoy!
