Place the unwrapped brie on an oven dish with baking paper underneath for easy removal.
Bake for 20minutes or until the center is very soft when you lightly press it. You can also microwave it on high for 2 to 3 minutes. Again check by pressing in the center to see if it's soft enough. My personal favorite is baking it in the oven.
While the brie is baking heat a pan and toast the nuts until they're slightly brown. You will be able to smell the aroma when they are ready.
Add one tablespoon of honey, cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of jam/berry compote to the pan with the nuts and stir to coat.
Transfer to a serving platter and pour the honey nut mixture over the brie.
Add fruit to Serve with fresh fruit on the sides of the platter, crackers, grissini (Italian breadsticks) or crostini.
Alternatively: You can cut into the top of the brie add the honey nut mixture and either bake in the oven on 180 degrees (as above) or Microwave in a microwave dish for about 3 to 4 minutes or until soft.
