Description

The easiest golden-brown crispy Air Fryer Potatoes that are ready in 20 minutes and perfectly tender on the inside. Served here with salt, fresh rosemary garnish and a bowl of chili ketchup. Simplicity yes, DELICIOUS absolutely! Serves

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 400 grams (1 lb) Potatoes, washed, peeled and cut into squares. Roughly 3 to 4 medium potatoes, 2-4 people serving.
  • 2 Tbsps Extra Virgin Olive Oil, use what you need.
  • 1 Tbsp Potato Seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp Salt (for serving)
  • 1 Tbsp Or A few sprigs of Fresh Rosemary, Thyme or Parsley (garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the washed, peeled and cut potatoes onto a clean dish towel and pat them dry. The less moisture, the better the seasoning and the oil sticks which equals better browning.
  2. Add the now dried potatoes into a bowl. Add the potato seasoning and olive oil, toss to combine and coat all the potatoes with the oil and seasoning. You can use your hands or a spoon.
  3. Somewhere in between, preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes and as you know, if you don't have a preheat setting on the air fryer, simply start it and let it run for 5 minutes for the basket to get nice and hot.
  4. Transfer the cleaned, seasoned potatoes to the air fryer basket in a single layer and air fry at 200°C/400°F for 15-20 minutes or until brown to your liking. To check the doneness, use a fork to pierce through the potato, the inside should be soft. You can also tell from the exterior of the pototo, which will be light golden brown and crispy. For a little more browning on the edges, add another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Garnish with fresh rosemary, flaky salt and serve.
