Oh but we love us some roasted peppers and this air fryer roasted bell pepper recipe is about get you hooked! So much easier than having to put the oven on! It's a convenient short-cut method without compromising on taste. You get the whole shabang with air fryer roasted peppers, charred skin and delicious flavor!


Ingredients

  • 3 bell peppers
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Rinse the bell peppers, place into the air fryer basket and cook for 12 minutes checking in halfway through. Stop and re-arrange if the one is less charred than the others. Then close the basket to continue cooking until the skins have softened and charred.
  2. Turn the air fryer off and immediately cover the bell peppers with foil and leave them for 10 minutes. This will make the skins fall off without difficulty when peeling.
  3. Transfer to a board, remove the peels and seeds and discard. Slice the pepper and leave covered in a mason jar or container covered in extra virgin olive oil. Taste for seasoning.
