  • 1 tsp salt
  • cracked pepper
  • 1 tsp dried chili flakes

  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 1 1/2 cups cream
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbps sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 2 to 3 tbsps maizena
  • fresh thyme

Instructions

Pork Mince Balls Method

  • In a bowl combine all the ingredients under the Pork Mince Balls Ingredient Group. ie. pork mince, egg, bread crumbs, onion, parsley, salt, pepper, chili, fennel and nutmeg.
  • Roll or pat into about a dozen or so balls. Heat Frying Ingredients (oil and butter) in a skillet. Add the meatballs and fry till brown all round, keep turning them to brown all over. Set aside.

Sauce Ingredients

  • Same skillet add the 'Sauce' ingredients one at a time starting with the tomato which you cook for 2 to 3 minutes on low heat then add the stock, let it simmer  in the tomatoes for about 5 minutes or so.
Add the sriracha & soy sauce and the mustard.
Add the maizena a tablespoon at at time depending on how thick you want your sauce.
Add the cream and return the meatballs to the pan and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Cook the spaghetti according to the packet instructions. Approximately 8 to 10 minutes.  Save a cup of the cooking water and set aside. Drain the pasta and add it to the meatballs & sauce.
If the sauce is a bit dry add a tablespoon or so of the saved pasta water and a drop of cream/milk to get that nice saucy sauce.  Enjoy!
