Air Fryer Lamb Chops (Grass Fed)

Miranda | My Anosmic Kitchen
Air fryer lamb chops in a spicy lamb rub is such a simple and oh so delicious recipe, perfect dinner idea and ready in 15 minutes!
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Total Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 lamb chops
  • 2 tbsps. olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh thyme
  • 1 tbsp. lamb dry rub Smell and Taste

Instructions

  • Dry the lamb chops with kitchen tissue paper.
  • Add the lamb chops, salt & pepper, garlic, olive oil and lamb dry rub spice into a Ziploc bag and make sure it's sealed.
  • Use your fingers to gently press all over the outside of the bag, the idea is to get the chops well coated. It might look like they need oil but they don't, this recipe measures accurately for tender chops.
  • Place a sheet of baking paper into the air fryer basket (easy clean up and gorgeous juices from the meat to collect later)
  • Place your lamb chops neatly into the basket, not overlapping and air fry on 200℃/400F for 5 minutes. Remove and use a pair of tongs to turn them over, continue air frying for another 5 minutes. You can leave them another 1 to 2 minutes for more of a roast however, this timing gave me tender meat and another minute and a half took it from medium to well done, so use a guideline.
  • Rest the chops for 5 minutes before serving for the juices to redistribute and serve with fresh thyme.

Notes

Cooking Methods: There is more information in the post on lamb chops and cooking methods. Here are few reasons why you should make this recipe in an air fryer:
Air Fryer Cooking: If you like me, I love elevating meat when roasting and that's one of the reasons why I love an air fryer. It uses the air in the fryer (dry air) that's circulating to cook your food, hence it uses less fat. The fat on these lamb chops is 2 tablespoons of olive used in the marinade and the rest is the fat from the lamb, both are good, especially if you are using either Grass Fed Finish Meat or any other good quality meat
