  • 2 avocados
  • 3 tbsps. olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 juice of a fresh lemon
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 3 tbsps. sour cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • cold water to think it out. See notes below on this!
  • 2 tbsps whipping cream

Instructions

  • Add the avocado, salt & pepper, lemon, garlic, olive oil and sour cream or yogurt into the blender with part of the water.
  • Taste for seasoning, lemon, sour cream (use yogurt if you need to substitute the sour cream), add a little water to thin it out and add your favorite garlic & herb or vegetable spice
  • Finally add the cream and mix.
  • Bend, add water, use a rubber spatula push the ingredients down into the water and blend again. Repeat until you have a creamy pouring consistency.

Notes

Water
Add the water gradually. Taste & season as you go and add water or it will be too thick! I added a good amount of filtered water gradually (about ½ cup!) 2 avos make more avocado salad dressing but you will need a bit of water to thin it out or you can start with 1 avocado and use less water.
