3 Ingredient Avocado Smoothie Without Banana

A smooth and creamy 3 ingredient avocado smoothie without banana will be your new way of making an avocado smoothie. It's easy to make, healthy, verstile and convenient to make on the go! Feel free to add toppings and sweetners but it tastes perfect for a light drink smoothie that's creamy without being overly rich.

Ingredients
  

3 Key Ingredients

  • 1 Avocado
  • 2 cups Almond Milk or any milk of your preference
  • 1 tsp honey or other sweetner

Instructions 

  • Into a high powered blender, add the 1 Avocado, 1 Avocado, 1 tsp honey or other sweetner and blend until a nice smooth and creamy consistency.
  • Pour into 2 glasses and serve with chia seeds, fresh mint leaves or a as is. Enjoy!

Notes

Other ingredients you could add to an avocado smoothie are: 

  • Almond extract
  • Salt 
  • Fresh lime juice or lemon juice
  • Frozen fruit
  • Chia seeds
  • Baby spinach
  • Water and ice

Storage

To store this smoothie? Don't!  Drink it fresh and on the go 🙂 It’s best to finish your delicious avocado smoothie in one sitting.
However, if you must store it (it happens) then pour it into a drinking cup with a lid or the cup of a blender and cap it. Store it in the fridge for the day and at most, overnight. I have left it in a glass, covered with cling wrap and it was still super delicious the next morning. It will need a little ice water and a stir with a spoon to thin it out again. 
To Freeze:  I would pour it into an ice tray which make it convenient when making smoothies.
