I’m a food blogger, spice blend maker, and the creator of a free recipe ebook with over 50 flavorful dishes—all written and tested in my kitchen in Cape Town, South Africa. Oh, and I was born without a sense of smell—a condition called anosmia.

Yes, I can’t smell! But that’s never stopped me from falling in love with food. In fact, it’s inspired me to cook with even more purpose—focusing on taste, texture, color, and balance. Cooking is how I express creativity, comfort, and connection.

I started My Anosmic Kitchen to show that food can still be deeply satisfying, even when you experience it differently. Many people with anosmia feel disconnected from food—but I wanted to change that narrative. Through layered flavors, real ingredients, and lots of heart, my goal is to make home cooking feel exciting again, whether you can smell or not.
