Easy Air Fryer Beef Bites (Meal Prep Recipe)

Juicy, cheesy Air Fryer Beef Bites made with ground beef, Parmesan, herbs, and garlic. Easy to prepare, freezer-friendly, and perfect for meal prep, lunchboxes, or quick weeknight dinners.

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Air fryer-safe baking tray or pan
  • Knife or pizza cutter

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg ground beef mince (about 2.2 pounds)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese plus extra for topping
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon chilli flakes optional

Instructions 

  • In a large mixing bowl, add the ground beef, seasoning/spice, salt, black pepper and beaten eggs, fold the ingredients together.
  • Add the remaining ingredients - grated parmesan cheese, minced garlic cloves, chopped fresh parsley and fold all the ingredients together.
  • Use the back of a spoon to flatten the beef mixture into the dish and cut quares into the beef mixture.
  • Sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese over the top.
  • Cut once more through the cheese again along the score lines so the squares remain visible after cooking.
  • Air fry at 190°C (375°F) for about 30 minutes, or until the beef is fully cooked and the cheese is golden.
  • Alternatively: Air fry at 200°C (400°F) for 15–20 minutes, depending on the thickness of your beef mixture and your air fryer model.
  • Allow the beef bites to rest for 5 minutes before separating into squares but don't forget about them or they'll continue cooking and could end up not juicy and soft!
  • Serve warm with your favourite sides or portion into containers for meal prep.

Notes

  • Cooking times may vary slightly depending on your air fryer.
  • Add your favourite dried herbs or spices to change the flavour.
  • Delicious with roasted vegetables, salads, mashed potatoes, rice, wraps, or pasta.
  • Great for meal prep and easy lunches throughout the week.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Freeze for up to 3 months and reheat in the air fryer until warmed through.
  • Meal Prep Tip: Divide the cooked beef bites into individual containers with roasted vegetables, rice, quinoa, or a fresh salad for easy lunches throughout the week. They reheat well in both the microwave and air fryer.
Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan over the top, then run your knife through the cut lines again so the cheese doesn't seal the squares together while cooking.
