Total Time 5 minutes
Servings :2 servings

Ingredients

  • ½ cup blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 2 –3 slices orange
  • 2 –3 slices lemon
  • 1 to 1½ cups sparkling water or soda water chilled
  • Ice cubes as needed (optional if using frozen blueberries)
  • Optional Garnishes
  • Fresh mint leaves or basil leaves
  • Extra citrus slices or blueberries
  • Optional Sweetener to taste
  • Simple syrup honey, maple syrup, or elderflower cordial (1–2 teaspoons)

Instructions

Add the fruit

  • Place the blueberries, orange slices, and lemon slices into a large glass or serving jar.

Add ice (if using)

  • Add a handful of ice cubes if you are using fresh blueberries. Frozen blueberries will naturally chill the drink.

Top with sparkling water

  • Slowly pour the sparkling water over the fruit until the glass is full.

Add herbs

  • Lightly clap the mint or basil leaves between your hands to release their aroma, then add to the glass.

Stir gently and serve

  • Give the drink a gentle stir and serve immediately while cold and bubbly.

Notes

*Calories will vary depending on fruit size and sweetener used.
  • Frozen blueberries keep the drink cold without diluting it.
  • Slice citrus thinly for balanced flavor.
  • Add sweetener only if desired — this drink is naturally refreshing as-is.
  • To make a pitcher, multiply ingredients and add sparkling water just before serving.
