Simple Summer Crackers

A simple summer crackers charcuterie board made with a mix of crisp crackers, cheese, dips, fruit, and fresh toppings. Easy to assemble, flexible, and perfect for stress-free entertaining or casual snacking.

Ingredients
  

Crackers

  • salticrax salted crackers
  • sesame / barley
  • gluten free
  • herbed or rosemary crackers
  • seed crackers / multigrain
  • mixed pretzels
  • flatbreads; baquette naan bread, crostini or wraps, cut and baked or toasted

Optional Topping Ideas

  • cottage cheese
  • beetroot hummus
  • grilled or fried mushrooms
  • thinly sliced radish
  • sliced cucumber
  • lime or lemons
  • figs
  • olives
  • tapenades
  • sea salt and fresh herbs for garnish ie. mint dill or parsley
  • extra virgin olive oil for drizzling
  • bell pepper dip
  • mascarpone cheese dip
  • feta and cranberry dip
  • cherry tomatoes or other small veg like baby carrots quartered celery sticks etc.
  • grapes strawberries or any other small fruit like fresh figs, kiwi etc.

Instructions 

  • Arrange the crackers on a board starting from the outside of the board.
  • Add a dip or two in small bowls on ether side of the board (if using dips). You can also go with cubed cheese in various flavors.
  • Place small bunches of grapes (or other fruit like berries or kiwi) and cherry tomatoes or another small vegetable in-between the crackers.
  • Add a sprinkling of sea salt, serve and enjoy!

Notes

Make-Ahead:  Dips and toppings can be prepared ahead and stored in the fridge. Assemble crackers just before serving for the best texture. Leftovers should be stored separately in airtight containers.
