Roasted Air Fryer Beetroot (10 Minutes)

Quick and easy roasted air fryer beetroot ready in 10 minutes. A healthy, colourful side dish or appetizer with caramalized edges and simple ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 2–3 medium fresh beetroot peeled and sliced
  • 1–2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1–2 teaspoons red wine vinegar

Instructions 

  • Preheat air fryer to 190°C / 375°F.
  • Wash, trim, peel, and slice beetroot into even rounds or half-moons.
  • Place beetroot in a bowl and toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and red wine vinegar.
  • Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway, until tender with lightly caramelized edges.
  • Serve warm as a side dish or appetizer.

Notes

Slice evenly for best results.
Do not overcrowd the basket — cook in batches if needed.
Add extra vinegar or fresh lemon juice just before serving for brightness.
Great served with yogurt sauce, feta, or fresh citrus.
