How to Make Air Fryer Roasted Beetroot

  1. Wash the beets well.

  3. Slice into even rounds or half-moons for even cooking.
  4. Toss well with extra virgin olive oil, salt, black pepper, and a dash of red wine vinegar.
  5. Air fry until caramelized on the edges and cooked through — about 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway.

Recipe Tips & Suggestions

  • Don’t overcook — beetroot should be tender with lightly crisp edges.
  • Season well — it makes all the difference.
  • A touch of acidity really lifts the natural sweetness.
  • Peeling helps remove any remaining dirt from this root vegetable.

How to Serve Roasted Beetroot

Serve as a simple side dish with roast meat, grilled chicken, or fish — or enjoy it on its own as a light appetizer, just like I shared on my socials.

Roasted beetroot doesn’t need much, but you can also serve it with:

  • A simple yogurt or tahini dipping sauce
  • Fresh lemon wedges
  • Orange slices for a fresh, sweet-savory twist
  • Crumbled feta or goat’s cheese for extra richness

Variations

One vegetable, many uses:

  • Add to salads or grain bowls
  • Blend into a beetroot hummus
  • Use in a beetroot smoothie bowl
  • Toss through warm lentils or couscous
