More especially over these (and others) unbelievably delicious chicken fajita wraps!
Mexican flavors all coming together in this wrap recipe which was the inspiration that started it all.

We loved this coriander sauce over our fajitas and then added it to just about everything else!
The image is below and here are the ingredients that I used.

How to Make Cilantro Dressing Creamy?
Add ½ an avocado with the ingredients.
How to Make Coriander Sauce RICH and Creamy?
Add 2 tablespoons of a good quality mayonnaise, sour cream and again, an avocado with the remaining ingredients.
I would've never thought of adding mayonnaise BUT ... it works!
If you find your coriander sauce on the stronger tasting side, you know how to tame it down a bit.
Any type of cream cheese would work too,
Plus it's extra smooth and creamy.
Creamy Cilantro Lime Sauce Recipe
This healthy cilantro lime sauce version has a creamy texture and is very delicious!
Fresh cilantro leaves and cilantro stems, fresh garlic, fresh lime juice (a lot of lime juice hence the greenish color), sour cream, mayo, avo, salt, olive oil.
I told you there are many variations to this recipe, from using it as a topping to a dipping sauce🙂

Great as a healthy salad dressing!
Fresh Coriander: This recipe uses fresh coriander including the coriander leaves and the tender stems of the cilantro (coriander).
Cottage Cheese: You can substitute with plain Greek yogurt.
Garlic Cloves: Raw garlic simply cut into smaller cubes for the food processor.
Olive oil: To help the ingredients combine and to add flavor.
Lemon or limes: Taste and add extra lime juice if you need to.
Salt: Definitey adds flavor and balance.
Water: I used about ¼ cup but you may want to go with a tablespoon at a time to check the consistency.
How to Make 5-Minute Creamy Sauce
Add all the ingredients into a food processor, blender, mortar and pestle or an immersion blender.
Fresh coriander, cottage cheese, garlic, lemon or lime, salt.
Add the water slowly, if needed.
Blitz to your preferred consistency, taste and adjust for seasoning and lemon or lime juice.
Incase you want this coriander sauce thicker, you know by now, add avo 🙂
Below is an image with both the avocado and without the avocado.
You probably know which one is with avocado right? Yes! The jar!
Serving Suggestions
Okay, now that you have an idea of all the different ways that you can make coriander (cilantro) sauce, this is how you can use it.
Coriander sauce is wonderful over roast meat dishes like lamb rack.
Serve it over roasted vegetables and baked potatoes!
A topping for chicken wraps or burrito bowls.
And that's not all, you can use this sauce as a dip
Great as an appetizers or part of a Summer Crackers Charcuterie Board
Note: If you prefer a milder sauce, use less garlic and less cilantro because cilantro, unlike fresh parsley, has a much stronger taste.
Storage
If you find yourself with this garlic cilantro sauce leftover, then it's very easy to store.
Use an airtight container to store the sauce in the refrigerator.
Remember that the days it will last will depend on what you added into the sauce.
A yogurt sauce will last longer than say a sauce that includes some sort of cream cheese.
My suggestion would be to smell the sauce to be sure.
Personally, as an anosmic I would scrutinize the color.
It should be bright and appetizing without any change of color. OR taste it!
And remember, even if a recipe says it lasts for a week, you still need to check the smell, taste, flavor and texture for before using.
