angel hair RECIPE
This angle hair pasta is easy and flavorful and not as calorie driven as my Creamiest Fettuccine Pasta Recipe which has been very popular on my blog and has received a few thumbs up! It does however require the oven to be turned on whereas this angel hair pasta is prepared in one pan.
Another insanely delicious and quick no cooking, no pan, dish is this Mediterranean Salad which is a big must try with a salad dressing that does indeed level up.
what's for dinner?
Having asked this question the other day in our Facebook Group today I was asking myself the same question 'what am I going to make for dinner'. With plump and juicy cherry tomatoes staring back me I knew that it was a good place to start.
INGREDIENTS
How to make this angel pasta recipe? Let's do this.
Sautéed cherry tomatoes - You can by all means roast your tomatoes but hey, we are looking for quick and easy yet flavorful so we're going to get a skillet or non stick pan on the stove to heat. The heavy based pan is always great but any pan can sauté tomatoes so let's move on.
The good thing is once they're roasted you can make so many different dishes with them from adding them into your pasta dishes to serving them on toast,
Ingredients for tomatoes;
- Olive oil
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Smell & Taste Basics - Salt & Pepper
- Smell & Taste - Paprika Dry Rub
Basil Pesto - If you love basil pesto then there are no words needed to explain why. I have an amazing Basil Pesto Recipe just incase you want to make your own. It's a fantastic recipe with all the various ways to make pesto, the different herbs, ingredients and loads of suggestions.
Chicken - As with the tomatoes you can roast a chicken and I love homemade roasted chicken as much as the next person but again, we are cutting all corners here so we are going with a rotisserie chicken. Simply remove the skin and bones and use just the white parts of the meat.
Angel Hair Pasta - I've actually always called Angel hair pasta 'skinny pasta' because it is in fact skinnier that all the other pasta types. Any type of spaghetti works but this angel hair pasta takes no time at all.
Fresh Parsley - If I haven't already told you I love fresh parsley and it also adds flavor and balance to any dish.
Seasoning & Spices - The word 'spice' doesn't necessarily mean hot it also means just pure flavor. Seasoning your food in the beginning or at the end makes you miss out on those other levels of taste so preferably season a little at a time throughout the cooking process.
