Heritage Day, a South African public holiday celebrated with food just as any other celebration takes place. The significance of the holiday is a celebration of the cultural wealth of the nation, the coming together of the many cultures in the country.  Celebrations are held throughout where people are dressed up in their cultural attire to celebrate their origins.
