This green bean salad is a new and fantastic way to eat your green beans aside from a plain side vegetable. It's super simple and delicious! I haven't used this combination before but I had these beautiful green beans and had a totally different recipe in mind which I will still soon share. This recipe came about the old fashioned way and if truth be told it's how most of my cooking goes. Look in the cupboards and fridge and go with the flow which truthfully works out brilliantly most of the time. If it's extra delicious and a resounding success like this green bean salad then it get's to the blog and I'm very happy to be sharing it with you today!
GREEN BEAN SALAD INGREDIENTS
Green beans - Yes friends, the base of this recipe
Red cabbage - If you have only green cabbage remember that the two in terms of taste are very similar however I do find that the purple has a deeper more flavorful taste to the green although similar. The purple also adds a nice pop of color to the dish.
Orange bell pepper - A nice fruity taste to balance out the other ingredients
Fresh mozzarella - I know this is an unusual addition but trust me it works beautifully! Simply tear pieces of mozzarella all over the plate, season and drape in a salad dressing.
Seasoning - Smell and Taste Vegetable Spice and Salt and Pepper. A little sprinkle of the vegetable spice gives the appearance and taste a lift and the salt & pepper blend adds a peppery slightly salted combination. This salt & pepper basics collection has a textured blend of seasoning which works brilliantly!
Add a sprinkle into the salad dressing as well for some lift.
